For companies that adopt our full safe working procedure, management and
training program we will be certifying the client company to the OHAS 18001
standard.
The OHAS 18001certification system will be backed up by annual inspections and
a continuous professional development program which will be undertaken and
delivered by Professional Health and Safety Consultants
On site training, auditing and mentoring will all be carried out by the same
practitioner so there will no conflict of information or audit criteria.
Service offer 2
Professional Health and Safety Consultants will be offering practical
management and safety training in their learning and professional development
suite in South London. This will allow builders, plumbers, electricians,
decorators and any allied trade to demonstrate their competence and get a
formal certificate so that they or their company can be entered onto the
Competent Builder Register. This is a new form of accreditation where mature
and knowledgeable builders can gain accreditation and academic awards to
demonstrate their personal competence and working knowledge of the building
process if they are actively engaged in the building, construction industry or
allied trades. This does not replace CSCS but allows you to show your clients
that you understand safe working management procedures, quality procedures and
should allow you to get onto tender lists, CHAS, Constructionline, Exor and
easy access to work opportunities from corporate clients and also major
discounts on company insurance.
If you have not attended college or managed to gain an academic qualification
in the past this will be a very effective method for you to catch with the
companies who hold certification and get more work opportunities. If you
successfully complete our health, safety and management course you will be able
to answer the questions in pre qualification questionnaires and other vetting
procedures with more confidence and authority.
